| Bio: | It's recently become clear to me that I am a shaman in every major sense of the word. Let me explain further.
One function of the shaman is to challenge and confront people when necessary, to help bring a necessary paradigm shift and to prevent complacency. Another function is to listen compassionately and provide guidance when they are troubled or uncertain, and to aid in mental and physical healing. Shamans undertake mystical journeys, bringing back some wisdom and truth intended for themselves, and often much more for the benefit of others. In many cultures, shamans also walk the line between the traditionally male and the traditionally female. I will gladly elaborate upon any of these if you ask; otherwise, I mention them only as background, since all of them describe me.
Some of my interests include computers, science fiction and fantasy, role-playing games, the arts (theater, music, literature mostly), religion / mythology / magic / the occult, surreal cinema (David Lynch, Richard Kelly), debate, politics, skiing, kayaking, camping.
